There has been a steady flow of exciting new content being added to RaceRoom over the last few months, such as the FRX-22 or Ferrari 488 GT3, and now they have confirmed that racing trucks will be coming to the sim soon.
From the teaser video (see below), they all seem RaceRoom branded, so presumably there will be no real brands, such as DAF or MAN, for now. The only other sim with trucks in the game currently is Automobilista 1 & 2, which does have licensed trucks.
KW Studios, developers of RaceRoom, have claimed that real life truck racing drivers in the FIA Europe Racing Championship have had input into the feel and drivability of these huge rigs, which hopefully will make them nicer to drive than AMS models, which many found to be unsatisfactory.
No new truck racing tracks were shown in the trailer, but many of the circuits in the European Championship are already in the game, such as Slovakia Ring and Autodrom Most.
Will you be trying out these huge metal monsters when they arrive in RaceRoom soon? I most certainly will be :)
