Drift, Rally and YouTube star Ken Block has passed at the age of 55, after his snowmobile tipped on top of him while driving up a steep slope. He was killed instantly.

Ken Block will always be an icon. Whatever he was doing, you could be sure it would be sideways in a cloud of smoke. He is a legend wherever you go in the car scene, an instantly recognisable name that conjures up mad cars, mad driving and one of the biggest personalities in motorsport.
If you want to understand Ken, go watch his Gymkana series on YouTube. They sum up him and everything he was, but if you want to go discover his personality, go watch his series where he and his daughter do up her '80s Quattro Urs. You can really see there that he was a fantastic father. But they weren't just a father and daughter; they were genuinely friends.
Lia put some words on Instagram, and they are incredibly powerful. Go read them now, and you'll understand.
Rest easy now Ken, drift in peace.
